Run by the Procurement & Logistics Service, this tender is to establish a framework agreement to provide permanent international medical and clinical recruitment services to the following trusts in Northern Ireland:
- Belfast Health and Social Care Trust
- Northern Health and Social Care Trust
- South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust
- Southern Health and Social Care Trust
- Western Health and Social Care Trust
Estimated contract value: £10 million
Contract duration: 2 years plus extensions totalling up to a further 24 months
Time limit for receipt of tenders: 3pm, 14th April 2021
Time limit for clarification qustions: 3pm, 7th April 2021

- Lot 1 – International Recruitment of Medical Staff – EEA
- Lot 2 – International Recruitment of Medical Staff – Non-EEA
- Lot 3 – International Recruitment of Nursing Staff – EEA
- Lot 4 – International Recruitment of Nursing Staff – Non-EEA
- Lot 5 – International Recruitment of other Healthcare Professions – EEA
- Lot 6 – International Recruitment of other Healthcare Professions – Non-EEA
The top 5 scoring agencies will be awarded for each lot with the exception of lots 5 and 6 where the top 10 scoring agencies will be awarded.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE STRICT CRITERIA FOR LOTS 3 & 4 (NURSING STAFF) AS FOLLOWS:
To qualify your agency must:
- Have a turnover of at least £1 million in the most recent year.
- Have placed at least 200 international nurses within the most recent year.
You will be asked for evidence to demonstrate both of these criteria.
