Provision of Supply Agency Services – The Stour Academy Trust

Description – This tender opportunity has been issued by The Stour Academy Trust (the Trust). The proposed contracts will be for the provision of supply agency services to the Trust where cover cannot be provided in-house. The service is intended to provide access to safe, compliant and good quality agency workers when required, while supporting the Trust’s objectives of continuity of provision, safeguarding compliance, operational flexibility and value for money. The Trust predominantly requires short-term supply cover where absence or operational need cannot be covered in-house. There may also be occasions where longer-term supply cover is required, including to support extended absence, vacancy cover or continuity of provision. The Trust intends to award contracts to four (4) Providers following evaluation of tenders. The contracts will be for a period of three (3) years with the possible extension of two (2) further years, in 12-month intervals (3 +1+1).

Total value (estimated):

£1,250,000 excluding VAT
£1,500,000 including VAT

Contract dates (estimated)

28 September 2026 to 27 September 2029
Possible extension to 27 September 2031
3 years with the option of 2 further 1 year extensions (3 + 1 + 1)

Contract locations: South East England and Kent

Legal and financial capacity conditions of participation:

Employer’s (Compulsory) Liability Insurance* = [£10m]

Technical ability conditions of participation: Provide details of up to three contracts to meet conditions of participation relating to technical ability set out in the relevant notice or procurement documents, in the education sector. To constitute a pass, at least two contract example provided shall be relevant to the requirement, with a sufficient level of detail that provides confidence in the Tenderer’s established past experience in similar and relevant projects/contracts
