Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Since 2011, the University of Sheffield has had in place a framework agreement with a group of suppliers to provide temporary works to support its need for flexibility within the clerical, administrative, security, portering and cleaning job areas. This is due to expire and the University now wishes to implement a new framework agreement to replace this with 2 suppliers. These formal contracts will provide University managers with access to temporary workers via a choice of organisations which have evidenced their ability to provide the right people to work in the areas outlined above based on a strong foundation of legal compliance, customer service, fair treatment and competitive pricing.D
Duration of the framework agreement: 3 Years with option to extend for a further 1 year
Estimated total value of purchases for the entire duration of the framework agreement: £700k – £1.2m
