Description: Provision of Temporary and Permanent Recruitment Agency Staff Services
The success of the awarding authority brand means that we’re also fortunate enough to be approached directly by many recruitment agencies. Following a review of current service providers we now have an understanding of how they work and what they can offer. Having a list of pre-approved suppliers with whom we know and are happy to work with will reduce time and resources across the college. In order to streamline working relationships with a pre-approved number of suppliers, this opportunity has been created to secure services via a formal Preferred List of Suppliers.
The awarding authority has worked hard with its suppliers to build first class relationships and makes sure that this is based on trust and respect. Recruitment agencies are always briefed fully on the roles we need them to work on, understand our employer brand, culture and fit. This saves us time not reviewing potential candidates that are not right for Newham College. Our purpose is secure best value and service via an open, competitive and transparent process.
The awarding authority aim to work with suppliers on an equal platform who are able to supply candidates on the following bases:
1) Temporary
2) Temporary to permanent
3) Permanent
Who are able to meet the demands of:
1) Academic Support
2) Business Support
3) Technical and Specialist Support
A preferred supplier agreement will save awarding authority time and money, provide fast turnaround times when recruitment or labour hire are required and, most importantly, meet or exceed expectations in terms of the quality staff recruited. Therefore, the terms of the agreement will refer to these criteria.
The awarding authority is keen to reduced unsolicited sales calls, marketing emails and rogue spend.
The awarding authority is keen to centralise and manage recruitment and labour hirer directly via our Human Resources Department.
