Description: The awarding authority is going to run a tender exercise for an annual yearly contract the provision temporary staff. The Partnerships and Operations Group at the authority is responsible for the delivery of refuse and recycling. In order to maintain service provision when permanent staff are absent (e.g. leave, sickness)or during times of peak seasonal demand or due to additional work being undertaken, the Council engages temporary employees provided by a suitable contracted agency.
