This Core and Mandatory Training Check Procedure is designed for social work and social care agency workers and complies with NHS Framework requirements.
It ensures that workers complete the requisite core and mandatory training prior to starting an assignment. Training for social care staff has to be compliant with the Skills for Care Training Framework. Agency workers must complete it prior to assignment and thereafter be given refresher training in alignment with the Skills for Care recommended refresher periods. The procedure includes details of:
