The London Borough of Ealing and Ealing Clinical Commissioning Group invite expressions of interests from suitably experienced service providers for the delivery of its Children’s Domiciliary Care Service. Applicants wishing to apply must have a minimum of one year compliant registration with the Care Quality Commission and or appropriate quality standards with appropriate regulatory board and have at least one years’ demonstrable experience of providing the same or similar services.
Ealing Council and Ealing CCG wishes to develop an approved list with a core group of pre-qualified providers who can offer safe practice underpinned by effective governance arrangements across the range of children and young people client groups and needs.
The aim of the service is to provide high quality care and support services to local children who are assessed as being Children In Need (CIN) and who have either a significant disability or complex health care need that impacts upon their daily lives or do not have a disability but are living in a family experiencing significant problems. Service provision would be from low-level short-term support to complex care services.
The tender is divided into four LOTS covering the broad range of services.
- Lot1: Care at home
- Lot2: Inclusion and buddying
- Lot3: Family support
- Lot4: Health care at home
It is a requirement that where applicable, the service provider(s) must be registered with the relevant regulatory body such as the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Ofsted.
The approved list will be for a period of three years with possible two year extension in yearly increments, subject to available funding and satisfactory performance. The approved list will be open to new providers at intervals, anticipated to be yearly, over the three year period. The intention is for the service to commence on or before 20th August 2014.
