Short description of the specific contract: The City of Edinburgh Council is working through a period of significant transformational change which will re-define and re-shape how services are delivered to ensure we are focussed on the priorities for Edinburgh’s residents and address the significant financial challenges we face. It is anticipated that a number of permanent Chief Officer (Director and Head of Service) level vacancies will arise as part of the change process. Therefore we require a contractor to undertake the talent attraction and support the appointment process for Chief Officials.

Any Contract resulting from this Tender will be for a period of 1 year with 2 optional 12-month extensions (1 + 1 + 1).
Limitations on the number of operators who will be invited to tender or to participate: Envisaged number of operators: 5
Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: Based on the Evaluation Panel’s assessment the 5 highest scoring suitable bidders will be shortlisted for Invitation to Tender. Where a tie occurs for fifth place, then all bidders in that place will be shortlisted.
